Mark those calendars, because an all-new season of "Steven Universe" is coming back sooner than fans expect. Cartoon Network has set a date, and fans are keeping their fingers crossed that this animated series won't go into another Steven Bomb.

For those who do not know, Steven Bomb is the term used to refer to the hiatus that the series takes after the studio reveals a slew of weeklong new episodes. Since the announcement was released by Cartoon Network Canada, fans are hoping that the new episodes will not only be made available there but in other countries, too.

There are reports that new episodes of "Steven Universe" season 3 will start airing on July 18, and apparently, fans could expect new episodes airing from Monday through Friday. That much has been confirmed by Matt Burnett, writer of "Steven Universe," when he tweeted this:

For the upcoming season, fans could an episode where Steven will discover that he has a superpower. Titled "Steven Floats," episode 306 will show Steven floating in the air after jumping high. The only problem is, he doesn't know how to come back down. This would probably air on July 18.

Succeeding episodes include episode 307 titled "Too Short to Ride," episode 308 titled "Drop Beat Dad," a still untitled episode 309, and episode 310 titled "The New Lars." Check out the promo clip for episode 307, "Too Short to Ride," below.

Meanwhile, a report by Entertainment Weekly seemed to confirm that there would be 20 new episodes for "Steven Universe" season 3. It appears the upcoming "Steven Universe: Summer Adventures" will feature one new episode each weeknight for four weeks. Thus, there will be 20 new episodes airing between July 18 and Aug. 12.

Incidentally, toward the end of "Steven Universe: Summer Adventures" in August, the animated series will introduce Bismuth, a purple, rainbow-haired gem, who was part of the Crystal Gems who battled to save the earth more than 5,000 years ago. Uzo Aduba of "Orange Is the New Black" will lend her voice to Bismuth.

Two back-to-back episodes airing on Monday, July 18, will kick-start "Steven Universe: Summer Adventures." Catch it on Cartoon Network at 7 p.m. ET.
