'Steven Universe' season 4 air date, rumors: Show to return this Nov. 7?
Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe" may be on hiatus as of now, but this November will reportedly see the return of the show.
According to reports, the show is set to come back this coming Nov. 7, and fans couldn't help but be excited about more episodes featuring Steven and the Crystal Gems. The fourth season started airing in August, but suddenly went on hiatus in September.
The first episode that is set to air is said to be titled "Gem Harvest" and Steven would be returning to the barn and hanging out with Peridot and Lapis Lazuli. The two newer members of the Crystal Gems have been trying to get used to Earth, and they have started growing a batch of vegetables on their own.
An extended look on the episode has Steven running into them in the middle of farming, and Peridot says that since she has expertise in growing gems back in Homeworld, she could do the same on Earth with vegetables.
Peridot, however, doesn't understand that vegetables aren't living creatures, so she expressed her confusion that the corn she picked wouldn't respond to her. She and Lapis give up after finding out that the corn was never going to be alive, so Steven picks up a seed and licks it in order to imbue it with life.
The continuation of the clip sees a Pumpkin turning to life in front of the three, but the gems are still confused as to why it's more attached to Steven. Steven then demonstrates how to carve a Pumpkin which spooks the living one away, and it starts nuzzling Lapis instead.
A lot of speculation has been going around as to what fans can expect from the episode. Ashly Burch ("Life is Strange") is said to be voicing someone in the episode, and some fans believe it could either be a fusion between Steven and Peridot or Peridot and Lapis.
"Steven Universe" is said to be coming back this Nov. 7.
