"Street Fighter" has become one of the legendary games that players all over the world are familiar with. That is why the coming of "Street Fighter V" is anticipated by gamers as it promises more gameplay that they have already come to love, aside from the application of modern technologies to the game.

"Street Fighter V" is promised to grace the gaming market in 2020, which gives enthusiasts a lot of time to speculate about what the game will feature. One of the rumored plot features is that Akuma will be appearing in "Street Fighter V" expansion, but Capcom has already clarified the rumors.

GameSpot wrote that "Street Fighter V" executive producer Yoshinori Ono mentioned the essence of strengthening the support for the title, especially since Capcom is planning to present it as an eSports game. This implies that the game publisher will be offering more tournaments so as to attract more players into the game.

When their goal becomes successful, more players will enjoy the game, and this will bolster the sales of "Street Fighter V" and possibly open doors for future endeavors.

"The more people participate, the bigger tournaments we can host, and the more people are going to watch them, which is directly connected with our sales, and that's going to decide the future," Ono said, in an interview with Famitsu, which was translated by Event Hubs.

"Street Fighter V is a title we're adding on to as it goes along, so we're working on it while planning ahead on the best way to develop it further," said co-producer Tomoaki Ayano.

Meanwhile, "Street Fighter V" season 1 is already done and everyone is expecting that Capcom will announce the start of the second. Both Ayano and Ono already stated that "Street Fighter V" will be given support for the next four years or so.

Next weekend, Capcom Cup will be held and many "Street Fighter V" enthusiasts are hoping that Capcom will announce a new game, a season or a new character, according to VG24/7.
