The long wait is over. "Suits" season 6 will be premiering Wednesday, July 13, and fans could expect a juicy episode right from the get-go, if the teasers for the episode are any indication.

"Suits" season 6 episode 1 will be titled "To Trouble," and it will show Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) spending his first night in prison. This would immediately pick up from the season 5 finale that saw him surrendering to the authorities on charges of fraud. He will friends with Frank (Paul Schulze), a fellow inmate. At the same time, he will have an altercation with Malcolm Jamal-Warner's character, the prison counselor.

Outside the prison walls, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and the rest of the crew will try to pick up the pieces of the of the fallout, especially since the partners in the law firm sent them a lawsuit.

"What we've always tried to do when we do something is deal with the consequences, the fallout, just like our characters do," Aaron Korsch, the show's creator, told TV Guide. "Having Mike go to prison is scary and so is keeping him there. ... [But] I want to see Mike in prison and I think people do too."

Meanwhile, Adams told Entertainment Weekly in an interview that while Mike will not be too thrilled to be swapping his coat and tie with the infamous orange jumpsuit, "there is an element of freedom" in his prison stint.

"He's been holding this secret for five years, and now he gets to move past it. When we find him, he's just in that zone where he's about to be licking his wounds and sort of trying to figure out how he's going to spend the next few years," the actor said.

The only downside to his spending most of his filming days in prison is that he doesn't get to interact as much with his co-stars.

"I think, you know, the hardest part is that I miss my friends and a lot of those interactions. I miss what Mike feels like," he confessed to Cinema Blend.

He did say that one of the arcs for this season is how Mike would get out of jail.

"Suits" season 6 episode 1 airs Wednesday, July 13 on USA Network at 9 p.m. ET. Those who want to watch it via streaming can access the show through USA Network's website.
