A hex will be cast upon Dean (Jensen Ackles) that will eventually wipe out his memory. Meanwhile, Dean has killed death, and there might be grave consequences coming their way.

In the upcoming 11th episode of "Supernatural" season 12 titled "Regarding Dean," the older Winchester brother will be losing his memory, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) will have to ask help from a not-so-friendly witch.

The synopsis of the upcoming episode reads, "Sam enlists Rowena's (Ruth Connell) help to track down an old world, powerful family of witches after Dean gets hit by a spell that is rapidly erasing his memory."

But based on Rowena's previous behavior, she might have another purpose other than helping Dean get better. As seen from the episode photos from TV Fanatic, Rowena handed Dean a voodoo doll. Later on, Dean looks at Rowena like he discovered something about her.

Unfortunately, Dean will not remember any of it until the hex is gone. As seen from the episode promo, Rowena even tells Dean, "You won't remember."

If Rowena is behind the spell that causes Dean's memory loss, her reason for doing so is unclear. Although, it is possible that she is working with Lucifer again and that he ordered to destroy the Winchesters who are keen on putting him back in his cage.

Previously on "Supernatural," Dean killed Death, and Billie the reaper (Lisa Berry) threatened him and Sam that there will no longer be second chances for them when death calls upon them. However, Castiel (Misha Collins) took matters into his own hands and killed Billie.

BuddyTV reports that actors Ackles and Padalecki shared, during the 2017 Salute to "Supernatural" in Houston, that the Winchesters are waiting for some sort of consequence to happen for what they did to Death and Billie the reaper.

"Dean killed Death and nothing really happened. So they're a little gun-shy...I'm sure [consequences are] coming," Padalecki teased.

"Supernatural" season 12 airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
