Those who missed Angelo (Gilles Marini) will be in for a treat as he will make an appearance in "Switched at Birth" season 5 during the 100th episode milestone of the drama.

There is no word as to how this will happen. As fans know, Angelo died of the injuries he sustained during a car accident back in the third season.

Freeform is keeping the details of Marini's return under the wraps at the moment, but it is a safe bet that Angelo will be part of either a flashback or someone's figment of imagination. Either way, the show made sure that he will be part of the show's conclusion, which should make fans of the character happy.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 will be the final season of the series. There will only be 10 episodes, which could make for fast-paced storytelling.

The premiere will reveal the person at the end of the line urging Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) to go back to Kansas after a year in China.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 will also get into detail as to why the two chose to stay in the country longer than they planned. They were only supposed to spend the summer there, but ended up establishing a brand-new life there.

This, in turn, makes it difficult for them to readjust their lives. Bay, who became a tattoo artist in China, will continue her passion in Kansas while Daphne will go back to school.

As teased before, she will get into trouble with Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch), who will be under fire with his black schoolmates after dressing up as rapper Lil Wayne in a costume party.

Creator Lizzy Weiss has been teasing this storyline on Twitter. She even shared part of the script where Daphne defends Mingo and that he was not appropriating black culture.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 premieres Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
