"Tales of Berseria" comes to PlayStation (PS) and PlayStation 4 (PS4) on Jan. 27, which is just a few weeks away. In line with this, Bandai Namco released a new trailer to promote the hit Japanese title, featuring a female protagonist in her revealing costume.

The new trailer for "Tales of Berseria" revolves around a female main protagonist called Velvet Crowe. Velvet is set to take revenge on those people who have wronged her.

Players will control Velvet as they witness her story unfolding right before their eyes, eventually discovering why the young protagonist has deep anger toward the events that have happened before the game commences. Velvet has special abilities on her left hand, which she gained from the prior happenings. She will use this to take revenge on the men who wronged her, meeting several characters along the way.

The new trailer, however, is being talked about for its uncensored scenes, revealing the shattered clothes that show most of Velvet's skin. Dual Shockers was able to speak to "Tales of Berseria" producer Yasuhiro Fukaya, who said that Velvet's costume is similar to the Japanese version.

"I promise. Velvet's costume will surely be the same in the western version," he said. "I believe that those who support the Tales Of series like to have exactly the same content as the Japanese version. We believe it's ideal and the best option to bring exactly the same game experience and design to the western countries."

The title's Facebook page explained that it will not have its "16 rating" if they did not apply changes to the scene. They wrote, "Everything else is exactly the same as the Japanese version."

"Tales of Berseria" is already available for preorder on PS4. The preorder offer has several perks such as a special themed ufotable, 15-minute video of a chat skit hosted by Bienfu, Velvet and the complete cast of the video game and a mini-music playlist from the title.

Those who preorder via Steam will get to have a loyalty discount if they have already purchased any game previously on the website.
