'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 2 spoilers: Mason caught by Wild Hunt; new teacher hiding something?
Be careful what you wish for.
Just when Scott (Tyler Posey) begins to realize that Beacon Hills may no longer need supernatural help as much as it used to, his best friend Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) whoops out in delight when he received an SOS from his father, Sherriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), regarding an abandoned kid with no memory of what just happened to him.
Later into the episode, it is revealed that Stiles is being gradually swiped out of everybody's memories the moment he saw the Wild Hunt. And by the end of it, he's gone.
In the next episode of "Teen Wolf's" final season, another member of Scott's pack is in danger of getting erased from existence. Mason (Khylin Rhambo), who was first to notice that the compasses have started acting weird, thereby potentially giving Scott and the pack a chance to locate the Ghost Riders, seems to be the next one to go, as teased in the episode preview.
But the Ghost Riders are not the only threat that Beacon Hills is facing right now. There is also the mystery behind the dead body that Mason, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) discovered in the boiler room.
In a recent interview with TV Line, executive producer Jeff Davis teased that Mr. Douglas (Pete Ploszek), the hot new teacher at Beacon Hills High School, could be harboring a secret of the supernatural kind that "would go all the way back to World War II." Is Mr. Douglas responsible for the dead body in the boiler room? Will this mystery eventually tie in with the Ghost Riders' arrival at Beacon Hills, or will solving it only prolong Stiles' nonexistence?
The official press release for the episode titled "Superposition" also hints on Corey (Michael Johnston) discovering a connection between the Wild Hunt and his abilities. Could this discovery be something that eventually helps Scott and crew to save Stiles and drive the Ghost Riders out of Beacon Hills for good? Or will it turn out to be something that makes Corey more susceptible to the hunt than everybody else?
"Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 2 airs on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
