'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 9 spoilers: Scott and pack to regain lost memories of Stiles in 'Memory Found'
The Ghost Riders are doubling their efforts to turn Beacon Hills into the next Canaan, and with Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack now down to four, do the good guys still have a chance of chasing the Wild Hunt away?
The entire season has been all about remembering a guy named Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) who seems to have been at the heart of everyone's most life-changing memories. After the previous episode hinted at a potential way by which Scott and his pack can re-open the rift into the Ghost Riders' dimension, everyone will be matching the Ghost Riders' desperate hunt with their own relentless will to remember Stiles.
In the next episode titled "Memory Found," Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Theo (Cody Christian) will serve as distraction for the Ghost Riders as Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) attempt to enact a plan based on what Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) has told them in the previous episode, when, right after regaining all of his memories of Stiles at the expense of losing his dead wife Claudia (Joey Honsa), a rift briefly opened before him to reveal Stiles on the other side.
Scott believes that if they can, like Sheriff Stilinski, regain their own memories of Stiles, they too can reopen a rift into the Ghost Riders' lair. But it is not going to be easy as the trailer for the next episode shows that the Ghost Riders will quickly catch on to their plans and may well turn the tables against them in unexpected ways, especially with the added threat of the Nazi werewolf Mr. Douglas (Pete Ploszek).
However, the trailer also gives viewers a silver lining when Lydia utters out Stiles' name while squinting at the blinding glow of light on the other side of the rift. Will Stiles finally be reunited with his friends? And will saving him be the key to finally putting an end to the Wild Hunt and bringing everybody else back? Why do the Ghost Riders seem to be paying such reverence to the banshee, Lydia?
And will Stiles' newly revealed real name, Mieczyslaw, serve a significant purpose in the conclusion of the Ghost Riders arc?
