'Teen Wolf' spoilers: Scott slowly loses his memories of Stiles, strives to remember him

The final season of "Teen Wolf" launched a week ago, and a lot has already happened in Beacon Hills in the past two episodes. In season 6 episode 3, Scott (Tyler Posey), Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) will attempt to find Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), and they will try to keep everyone safe from the Ghost Riders.

In the teaser for the upcoming episode, Scott is slowly forgetting about his best friend's existence. He is confused about this nostalgia. He remembers having a best friend, but he can't remember who he is. More importantly, he knows that he needs to remember him. He confides in Stiles' father, Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), who also appears to have forgotten about his son. Though it has not been confirmed, the supernatural team is expected to find a way to break the Ghost Riders' trick to save Stiles.

Stiles' disappearance apparently brought back Caludia Stilinski, his mother, from the dead. Her revival is pretty peculiar, but it might be relevant to this season's story. She might be the one to bring her son back, and she isn't expected to exist when Stiles returns. To note, Claudia suffered from frontotemporal dementia until her death. She is portrayed by Joey Honsa.

An important detail that fans have been clamoring to know throughout the development of the show is the real name of the beloved Stiles, which is just short for Stilinski. Show creator Jeff Davis reportedly teased that the character's real name starts with the letter M. His name will be revealed when the season progresses.

Another exciting storyline that's expected to be highlighted within the season is the romantic relationship between Stiles and Lydia. After how many seasons, both characters finally admitted how they felt for each other. However, it was cut short when Stiles was abducted by the Ghost Riders.

Lydia, who is a banshee, sees and knows things that are beyond the comprehension of other supernatural beings. She is expected to play a crucial role in finding Stiles and in bringing him back.
