'The 100' season 4 premiere spoilers: Bellamy and Clarke to deal with the world's possible destruction together?
Bellarke shippers are in for a treat based on the series of photos released by The CW for the premiere episode of "The 100" season 4.
At the end of season 3, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) worked together to put an end on A.L.I.E.'s (Erica Cerra) existence. But it seems like the two will still be at each other's side as they face the new threats to mankind based on the first look for the episode titled "Echoes."
The photos showed that Bellamy and Clarke are obviously worried about what they have to encounter in the coming days, especially after A.L.I.E. warned them about the Earth's imminent destruction due to the meltdown of the abandoned nuclear plants all over the world.
Despite the threats of world destruction, fans who have been waiting to see Bellamy and Clarke turn their platonic relationship into something romantic are still hoping that the upcoming events will bring them closer to each other.
Clarke is also expected to move on from losing Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) in season 3, according to an interview with showrunner Jason Rothenberg. "The truth is that Lexa was the love of her life, but [Clarke] is only 18 years old," Rothenberg said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "We move on, we figure out a way to compartmentalize, and you try and you don't forget. The person should never forget."
However, all the lessons that she learned from Lexa will reportedly stay with Clarke as she and the rest of the Earth's inhabitants deal with the upcoming danger. "Lexa has influenced her in so many ways," Rothenberg also stated. "The fact that Clarke is trying to transcend her tribalism is really a direct result of her relationship with Lexa."
The CW will air the premiere episode of "The 100" season 4 on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
