'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 episode 3 spoilers: Something's threatening Amy and Sheldon?

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 returns on Monday with what some spoilers say will be a potential threat to Amy and Sheldon's romance. The boys will also continue with the military project that was given them in last Monday's episode 2.

In recall, the last episode titled "The Military Miniaturization" saw a representative of the government, Air Force Colonel Williams (Dean Norris) meeting with Caltech engineer Howard (Simon Helberg) to inquire about the quantum gyroscope that he invented. Apparently, the government wants to fund the project, so the guys go about setting it up.

Monday's episode 3 titled "The Dependence Transcendence" will see Howard, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) hard at work with their military project. In the previous episode, Sheldon promised the Air Force that they will have the quantum gyroscope ready in two months, so work on their deadline is what they will focus on.

Because the boys are too busy with their project, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) decide to attend a party. It will be too late before they realize that they were the only ones invited and that the one who organized the party is Bert, the geologist who has a crush on Amy.

Sheldon will have no idea what's going on with Amy since he will be having problems of his own, that is, problems staying up so late. According to the synopsis shared by the sitcom's spoiler website, Sheldon will try to solve his sleepiness by drowning himself in coffee and energy drinks.

Meanwhile, because Howard is neck-deep with the military project, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will spend the day with Raj (Kunal Nayyar). The show's executive producer, Steve Molaro, has earlier disclosed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Bernadette will feel alone in her pregnancy because of Howard's busy schedule.

With her hanging out with Raj, could she perhaps be turning to someone else for attention? Moreover, will Bert be a threat to Sheldon and Amy?

Those questions will be answered when "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 3 airs on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
