'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 update, rumors, spoilers: Sheldon, Amy moving in together? Penny's family causes trouble
The upcoming 10th season of "The Big Bang Theory" may feature people taking their relationship to a whole new level. In Season 9, the viewers were surprised and delighted at the same time when Penny and Leonard decided to get married secretly. This time around, it appears that another couple may follow their footsteps, but not quite.
According to Headlines and Global News, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) might explore something new in their relationship. If the rumors are anything to go by, the two may decide to move in together, now that the previous season's newly weds, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) will formally build a family of their own.
Leonard has been Sheldon's roommate for a long time, and in Season 10, the former is expected to move out of Sheldon's apartment to live with Penny. To recall, Leonard and Penny decided to become husband and wife, but they have not been totally enjoying the perks of a married couple. Aside from not living under one roof, they have a lot of issues to deal with, including the one with Mandy. Fortunately, the tenth season will be the time for the two to get serious in their relationship.
Going back to Sheldon and Amy, the latter may end up being Leonard's replacement as Sheldon's roommate. If they do decide to move in together, this will be the most serious that their relationship has ever been in the series. There are also speculations that they could also get married, but as for the show's executive producer, Steven Molaro, Sheldon and Amy tying the knot is not a priority this season.
On the other hand, the very first episode of Season 10 will feature the formal wedding of Penny and Leonard. However, the wedding ceremony will call on Penny's mischievous mother and brother, Susan (Katey Sagal) and Randall (Jack McBryer). It appears that the two and their constant fighting will be the source of trouble in the show, particularly to Penny.
"As we know, her brother Randall has been a bit of trouble over the years, selling drugs and being in and out of jail, and that's put a lot of stress on her mom. You will pick up on the tensions between her mother and her brother very quickly, and you get a glimpse of Penny and her dad being caught in the middle of that," Molara said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
