'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers, Episode Recap: Braxton Delves Deep Into Elizabeth's Mind

"The Blacklist" is now on a new Thursday slot at 9/8c beginning this week on NBC.

In last week's concluding part of the Luther Braxton episode, Red (James Spader) woke up to realize that he had survived the missile strike called by the Director of the Alliance but that Braxton (Ron Perlman) had left with Elizabeth (Megan Boone) aboard a helicopter on their way to Alaska.

In their safe house, Braxton's men started torturing Elizabeth to find out what she knew about the Fulcrum. They concluded later on that that she had suppressed her memory and therefore could not remember any relevant information.

This led to Braxton recruiting Dr. Orchard (Gloria Ruben) who once helped him forget a traumatic incident, and took her son hostage to get her to comply with his order.

Dr. Orchard then drugged Elizabeth and got her to remember the night of the fire. She remembered that her father told her to hide in a closet and then argued with her mother, after which there was a shot and the fire started. She was hiding in the closet with a stuffed rabbit when Red arrived and took her out of the closet so she could escape the fire.

In the meantime, Red tracked down Braxton and found him about to meet the Director ((David Strathairn) of the Alliance in the latter's house. Red killed Braxton and left his body hanging in the living room of the house.

Red and his men later arrived at the facility in Alaska to rescue Elizabeth. She then told Red that he never cared about her and just wanted the Fulcrum to guarantee his own safety.

Dr. Orchard then informed Elizabeth that someone experimented on her and that is why she could not remember the night of the fire.

However, when she reached home, Elizabeth noticed that there was something in her stuffed bunny and ripped it apart to find a mechanical device in it.
