'The Blacklist' season 4 episode 7 and 8 spoilers: Red makes sure Kirk is not going anywhere

Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) may be in critical condition come the next episode of "The Blacklist" season 4, but he is not giving up the ghost; at least not yet.

The next episode of the season is the first part of a special installment titled "Dr. Adrian Shaw." Here, Kirk's health will get worse, which means that Liz (Megan Boone) might not get the answers she needs.

This can be seen in the promo for "The Blacklist" season 4 episode 7, where she voiced her fear that "the answers I'm looking for are going to die with him."

Kirk's time has not come yet and will certainly not arrive in this episode. In fact, he will still very much be part of the conclusion of two-parter, which will be told in episode 8 of "The Blacklist" season 4.

Here, Liz will realize that Kirk has become "increasingly desperate and dangerous" and that his persistence will lead to dire consequences.

However, the involvement of one Dr. Adrian Shaw might help. He will be the person that Red (James Spader) will be looking for in "The Blacklist" season 4 episode 7 and 8.

In the first half, Red will have the Task Force locate "an individual who provides new identities to criminals on the run" and this might have something to do with Kirk and whatever his remaining plans are.

Red also assured Liz that whatever Kirk has, his "resources" will not go to waste. The promo for "The Blacklist" season 4 episode 7 shows Red instructing her to get out of the hospital as well-armed and armored men enter the building.

It remains a mystery what Red is planning to do with Kirk, but it appears that Liz might actually be close to learning the truth about who she really is.

"The Blacklist" season 4 episode 7 "Dr. Adrian Shaw" will air on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
