'The Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers for Jan. 2–6: Will Steffy leave Liam for Wyatt?; What role will Ridge play in Quinn's downfall?

One of the longest-running soap operas of all time is going to start the new year with a bang, so expect more tension and drama when "The Bold and the Beautiful" continues on Monday, Jan. 2.

Speaking of tension, things come to a head when Steffy (Jacquline MacInnes Wood) considers moving into the Forrester Mansion on Monday's episode, but Liam (Scott Clinton) doesn't think that moving back is a good idea. Now that she's planning to move, will Steffy leave Liam for Wyatt (Darin Brooks)? Meanwhile, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is going to ask Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) some touchy questions which he avoids.

On Tuesday, Liam will put Wyatt on notice. Meanwhile, Quinn (Rena Sofer) is finding it difficult to stay loyal to Eric (John McCook) while she's infatuated with Ridge. Quinn may have caused a lot of pain for the characters in the show, but it looks like Ridge may be her one weakness.

Wednesday's episode will feature Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and Quinn discussing the incident in the steam room, while Eric lets Steffy know that he believes that she and Wyatt should be together.

On Thursday, Quinn will open up to Ivy about what happened in the steam room. It is also revealed that Ridge will ask Eric to make changes in the CEO position.

And finally on Friday, Eric, Quinn, and Wyatt will talk to Steffy about her future, while Liam tries to convince Ridge that they need to get rid of Quinn.

Quinn already has everything she could ask for. She's wealthy, powerful, and she's on top right now. However, she just can't stop thinking about Ridge.
