'The Elder Scrolls 6' release date news: Bethesda working on 2 new projects; 'TES 6' coming in 2018?

Game developer Bethesda Game Studios may have already confirmed the future development of the highly anticipated open world action role-playing video game, "The Elder Scrolls 6." However, the company has yet to provide concrete details with regard to its release. The next installment of the popular video game series is rumored to come out in 2018, but Bethesda's revelation about its current and future projects may delay the development and release of the title.

The sixth installment of the "The Elder Scrolls" franchise has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the internet for quite some time now. Ever since the release of the current installment, people have been talking about its sequel. In a recent interview with Pete Hines, the Bethesda Game Studios vice president, he said, "The Elder Scrolls 6" is definitely happening, unfortunately, it is not what they are focusing at the moment.

"It's coming, just not as soon as you probably hoped," Hines said. "We aren't working on 'TES6' at the moment."

Despite the disappointing news from Hines, fans of the "The Elder Scrolls" franchise are still hopeful that the company will soon provide significant details about its development and release.

In a report by Game N Guide, Bethesda has confirmed that they will be working on two different projects but none of them is the much awaited "The Elder Scrolls 6." As of now, the company has yet to provide solid information regarding the two projects and no titles have been reported yet. Nobody can tell if these new developments are sequels of brand new titles.

Meanwhile, rumors have been circulating that Bethesda will soon develop a VR version of "The Elder Scrolls 6." Although the idea is exciting, the company does not appear to be interested in it.
