'The Elder Scrolls 6' release date rumors and news: Pete Hines confirms game but release won't happen anytime soon
Despite the heavy rumor with regard to the development and release of "The Elder Scrolls 6," game developer Bethesda Games Studios has continued to remain silent about it. Many fans have been waiting for concrete details with regard to the company's plan for the future of the franchise. Now, Bethesda has finally responded to the rumors and speculations surrounding the sixth installment of the highly popular series.
During an interview with Express UK, the vice president of the company Pete Hines confirms that they are still planning on making "The Elder Scrolls 6." However, it is not going to happen anytime soon as the company still has some projects to focus on.
"Just so you know, not at the next Gamescom and not the one after that; there are at least two big games from Bethesda Games Studios before we get around to Elder Scrolls 6," Hines revealed. "What new feature can we add, what new things can we offer without sacrificing the things that make a game like ours, cool."
It is now safe to say that fans will not be hearing anything about "The Elder Scrolls 6" during big events like Gamescom and E3 in the next couple of years. Nonetheless, fans are still keeping it positive and hope that Bethesda will make the highly anticipated title official.
Meanwhile, according to University Herald, Bethesda is said to improve the features of the game once they decide to develop the sixth installment. According to the report, the game developer can learn from several RPG titles on how to give fans better gaming experience. The publication mentioned several popular RPG games such as "Taking Divinity: Original Sin," "Legend of Grimrock," "Deus Ex's Human Revolution and Mankind Divided," "Planescape: Torment" and "Dark Souls"
Despite the lack of information with regard to the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6," fans and critics are still sharing their own predictions on what the game will be like once it hits the market.
