Ezra Miller's solo "Flash" movie may not be coming to theaters yet but that hasn't stopped a lot of people from trying to find out more about the project. "Suicide Squad" actor Jai Courtney was asked whether he would be reprising his role as Captain Boomerang in the movie. He also commented on the "Suicide Squad" backlash as well as the Marvel versus DC issue.

In an interview with MTV's Josh Horowitz, Jai Courtney elaborated on his thoughts. When asked about a possible appearance in the "Flash" movie, he said, "Is that the rumor? ...I like that rumor. I like that a lot."

Rumors are going around that the antagonists for the movie is a gang of villains called the Rogues. The group has members like Captain Cold and the Golden Glider. Captain Boomerang looks like he could have a role to play in the team.

Fans who saw "Suicide Squad" remember that it was the Flash (Ezra Miller) who was responsible for putting Boomerang in jail. It also makes sense because Captain Boomerang is one of the main antagonists in the comics.

When asked about the "Suicide Squad" backlash, Miller said, "How do you please everyone? And I don't think Suicide Squad ever intended to... So no one's setting out to upset the fan base, certainly not a fan base that can be as loyal as this kind of crowd can."

He also said that he liked what director David Ayer did with the project and he was looking forward to working with him again.

As for the Marvel versus DC issue, Courtney said that the DC universe's characters are more established than the Marvel characters. He said, "Everything's established now, we don't have to figure out who anyone is. It's like 'Cool. Get them all together and let's have a f*cking orgy and make a billion dollars.'"

"The Flash" hits theaters sometime in 2018.
