'The Flash' season 3 episode 10 spoilers, news: Barry goes into the future to save Iris; Killer Frost to be unleashed?
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will do everything in his power to save Iris (Candice Patton) from being killed by Savitar (Andre Tricoteux), including altering with the timeline again. Meanwhile, could Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) be unleashed because of another change in the timeline?
Previously in "The Flash" season 3, it was revealed that Iris will die six months into the future in the hands of Savitar. Now that Barry and Iris are finally together, Barry will do everything he can to stop Savitar from killing his one true love, including changing everything that will lead to it.
On the promo for episode 10 titled "Borrowing Problems From the Future," Barry is seen formulating how he will change the future and other things that were altered when he created the "Flashpoint" timeline.
However, there is a possibility that Killer Frost will be unleashed if Barry successfully changes the future.
Caitlyn had acquired frost powers, ever since she got them, she has been struggling in trying to suppress it and prevent it from turning her into Killer Frost. She started wearing cuffs that disable her metahuman powers to prevent Killer Frost from taking over her.
But as seen in the episode 10 promo, Caitlyn's eyes flashed with white streaks, similar to the ones Killer Frost has. It is possible that the present will be changed once Barry alters the future to save Iris, and it may end up unleashing Killer Frost despite the metahuman power depleting cuffs.
A new character may also be introduced when "The Flash" returns next year.
From the promo, a man with an eye-patch was raiding Central City's diamond exchange, which was identified as the DC comics character, Plunder, whose real name is Jared Morillo, according to Movie Pilot. Plunder's identity was confirmed when earlier in the promo, a report in Central City news showed the line: "Jared Morillo Found Guilty."
"The Flash" season 3 returns on Tuesday, Jan. 24, on The CW.
