'The Flash' season 3 episode 3 air date and news: New images and promo released for upcoming episode 'Magenta'
While the first two episodes of the third season of "The Flash" had Barry (Grant Gustin) worrying about the consequences of the Flashpoint Paradox, the upcoming episode will have him going up against a new villain and meeting another speedster. New images and a promo clip have been released for the upcoming episode, "Magenta."
The promo video showcases Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) and the episode will see her coming to terms with her powers. The last time fans were able to see her was when she was going back to Earth-2 with her father (Tom Cavanagh).
Apparently, she has been using her powers to save the people from her world. Her father has grown concerned and has asked Barry to talk to her about her powers.
In the meantime, a new villain will be making her debut in the episode by the name of Magenta (Joey King). She's a new meta-human who has the power to control metal. Interestingly enough, her name is only a few letters away from the "X-Men" Universe's master of magnetism, Magneto.
New images of the episode have also been leaked. Some fans pointed out that a picture of Jesse and her father have a box between them. It looks like it contains her superhero costume. Will she be donning it in the same episode? Fans sure hope so.
There are also images of Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) looking concerned and another picture of Julian Dorn ("Harry Potter's" Tom Felton) talking to Magenta in what looks like the police station.
Will Barry be able to handle Magenta right after the events of the Flashpoint Paradox? Hopefully Jesse Quick will be able to help him sort things out.
Episode 3 of the third season of "The Flash" airs on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
