'The Fosters' season 4 episode 11 spoilers: Jesus fights for his life; Callie finds herself in danger
Jesus (Noah Centineo) fights for his life on the upcoming episode of Freeform's hit family drama series "The Fosters" season 4.
Titled "Insult to Injury," the show's midseason premiere will see one of the Fosters injured and rushed to the hospital. According to the official synopsis, Jesus is knocked out after he fought with Nick because of Mariana. While he is being transferred to the nearest hospital because of his injuries, things take a turn for the worse, leaving Jesus fighting for his life. Elsewhere, Callie (Maia Mitchell) finds herself in a tough situation after agreeing to take a ride with Troy (Levi Fiehler). Back at home, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) starts blaming herself for the fact that her actions led to Jesus' condition.
The first half of season 4 left off with Mariana secretly taking her brother's ADHD medication to help her become more focused on her studies. She decided to mix it with alcohol, leading to some hallucinations that messed up with her mind. Nick (Louis Hunter) came to a surprising rescue, but Jesus is not in a mood to forgive him after what he did with Mariana. The scuffle between the two ended up with a punch to the head that could certainly mean bad things for Jesus, considering his risk of having occasional seizures.
In the promo clip released by Freeform, Jesus is inside an ambulance, on the way to the hospital. It appears that he is in a bad shape, and he begins to have seizures, making Stef (Teri Polo) panic. At the end of the clip, Lena (Sherri Saum) is seen praying inside the hospital chapel. "Don't you dare take my son. Don't you dare," she says.
The fourth season of "The Fosters" returns to the small screen on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
