Filming for "The Originals" season 4 has officially wrapped. The cast and crew took to Twitter to thank each other and celebrate the milestone.

Phoebe Tonkin, who will be back as Hayley in the new season, expressed her gratitude to everyone who made the show possible.

"To the Crew and Cast of the Originals. Thank you. You work so incredibly hard, and you devote so much time and energy into this show," the actress tweeted. "Many of you spending months away from your loved ones, your families, your lives. We are all so grateful for your dedication, your patience and your kindness. I miss you all already," she went on to say.

Executive producer Julie Plec also shared the love on Twitter as they celebrated the completion of "The Originals" season 4 production. "Congrats to The Originals on S4 wrap. We'll be back if I have anything to say about it. Unless I've peaked, in which case we're all screwed," she wrote. "The Originals" season 4 is expected to be one of the most intense runs of the vampire show yet. It picks up five years after the events of the last season, where the Mikaelson family were forced to be in hiding while Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is held by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). When the new season begins, baby Hope will be five years old and will now be played by Summer Fontana. She is brought by Hayley as she tries to find help for the Mikaelsons.

Marcel, on the other hand, will continue his reign in New Orleans and will even get help from a skilled vampire named Sofya (Taylor Cole), whose abilities are a great price to pay, something that Marcel will be willing to give.

Producer Michelle Paradise also teased that in "The Originals" season 4, "Blood is spilled, lips are kissed, vows are made [and] magic is done."

"The Originals" season 4 premieres Friday, Mar. 17 at 8 p.m. ET, the week after "The Vampire Diaries" airs its series finale.
