'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' news: Kim Zolciak-Biermann speaks out on her possible return; production company to pay workers $411,000 for unreceived overtime

Kim Zolciak-Biermann may be busy with her own reality show "Don't Be Tardy," but it doesn't mean that she is not interested in reuniting with her besties on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA)."

Though it has been four years since Kim made her last appearance on the Bravo series, fans are still wondering if she would ever return to "RHOA." The mother of six recently caught up with Andy Cohen during Wednesday night's "Watch What Happens Live After Show," and a fan asked if she'd be willing to come back in the show for old times' sake.

"I love doing 'Don't Be Tardy,'" Kim told the caller, adding, "I love Shereé [Whitfield], I really like Cynthia [Bailey]. I don't know." Cohen went on to talk about how the show has changed now that original Atlanta Housewife Shereé is back, which seemed to warm Kim to the thought of returning to the series.

"Shereé's really awesome. Shereé and I had that one wig pulling situation, but Shereé and I have known each other for 14 years, and she's a pretty good person. And she introduced me to my husband. So I might go back and get her a man," Kim continued. "We'll see. I'm not opposed to it," she went on to say.

"RHOA" and all the other "Real Housewives" installments are known for the major fights, drama, and controversies among the shows' cast members. However, it turns out that the complications in the show are not only seen on-screen but also behind the camera.

Buzzfeed reports that True Entertainment, the production company behind "RHOA," will pay $411,000 to hundreds of workers who did not receive overtime pay. The New York Attorney General's office announced the news last Monday after an investigation into the company's practices revealed that production assistants and associate producers usually worked 50 to 72 hours per week without being paid overtime as required by the law. The publication tried reaching out to True Entertainment, but the company has yet to comment on the issue.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 9 returns to the airwaves on Sunday, Jan. 1, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
