'The Sims 4' DLC news: 'City Living' DLC announced
After being rumored for quite a while, the long awaited city life-themed downloadable content (DLC) for "The Sims 4" has officially been announced. The expansion pack is called "City Living."
"The Sims 4" DLC introduces a new diverse beautiful coastal city called San Myshuno, which Electronic Arts says is something that fans never seen before.
"San Myshuno is packed with things to do and new people to see. Whether you're playing basketball in the Spice District or meeting with friends after work at the Karaoke Bar for a raucous good time, there are new experiences around every corner," EA wrote on its blog post.
San Myshuno will keep fans very busy as it offers so many things for players to do. Aside from the aforementioned locations, the Sims can also hit the Romance Festival unleash their inner geek at Geekcon.
There will be five Festivals in total that players can visit in "The Sims 4: City Living." But the DLC will not fully do justice to its theme without apartments.
Players will need to find an apartment in San Myshuno. EA says that there will be a lot of gameplay introduced when a Sim moves to one.
The apartments also come with "interesting characters and quirks," which could be brought into play as Sims choose their new home in "The Sims 4: City Living."
EA also says that it is possible to own a penthouse. Players can do so by doing a good job as a politician, critic or a social media enthusiast—three new careers added via the DLC.
"The Sims 4: City Living" will be released on Nov. 1. EA promises to unload more details about the highly-anticipated new content in the coming weeks.
EA also released a new trailer to give a preview of what to expect in the DLC.
