"The Walking Dead" will return on Feb. 8, 2015 to begin Part 2, Season 5 of the highly rated post-apocalyptic horror drama series on AMC. This was confirmed by the show's lead actor Andrew Lincoln in a recent interview with the Daily Mirror.

This time, things are going to be "super hard" for everyone in the team, according to showrunner Scott M. Gimple.

"The scripts that I've read and what we've been filming so far -- it feels like we're moving into a new show. It just feels like a new place visually and also story-wise ... It's very hard not to be brutalized by this world. But there is a sense in Nick that he's going to pull people through," said Lincoln, who plays the part of Rick Grimes.

AMC has released a dark and gloomy trailer for the show. Entitled "Surviving Together," the new episode shows the team starting to move again as they realized that the Grady Memorial Hospital is no longer safe for them to stay in.

The team moves into the woods with Rick leading them and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) right behind him. A voiceover then says, "Surviving together is all that matters."

As they move, they fight roaming zombies, although the scenes leave a rather blurry sight of what is actually going on. It is still unclear where the team is headed to.

After getting hurt and losing Beth (Emily Kinney) in Season 5, the main characters remain vigilant, doing their best to survive.

However, it is quite noticeable that Rick has a map with a scribbled note saying, "The new world's gonna need Rick Grimes."

In other news, expectations are very high for "The Walking Dead" as the mid-season finale ended with 14.8 million viewers and ranked number one in demographic. The show was also nominated at the 2015 People's Choice Awards as Favorite TV Show, Favorite Cable Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show and Favorite Character for Hershel Greene, played by Scott Wilson.
