'The Young and the Restless' spoilers & update: Jack kicks Phyllis out of his life; writer Sally Sassman takes over
"The Young and the Restless" is returning on Monday, Nov. 14, with some major drama and revelations. For starters, Jack (Peter Bergman) will be having a dilemma with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) because the woman just won't leave him alone.
According to spoilers, Phyllis will seduce Jack and make him profess his love for her. The two will lock lips and Phyllis will think she got him. It turns out that Jack won't like it. In fact, it will only make him angry and now he'll want Phyllis out of his life. Jack will tell her that she is just playing him and he won't let that happen.
He will also tell her that he will push through with his plans with Jabot's new division so that Phyllis will be sent to New York. But Phyllis is going to be as stubborn as Jack. She will not allow him to transfer her anywhere. And even if Jack will try to fire her, Phyllis will have something against him. She will threaten him that she will take half of the company if she doesn't get what she wants. Jack will be in a dilemma because apparently, she has a point.
Reports also revealed that fans will finally get some changes in the soap opera next month. Head writer Sally Sassman will be taking over the storylines in December and she will replace current writer Charles Pratt.
Sussman also divulged some of the things that she will be doing with the show. As detailed in TV Insider, fans will be able to identify the changes immediately. Her episodes will start airing on Dec. 7 and as Sussman said, she will be utilizing eight core characters. Included in the list are Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victor (Eric Braeden), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Sharon (Sharon Case), Billy (Jason Thompson), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Jack.
