Tim Tebow Hosts Red Carpet At Country Music Awards

Former NFL player and professed evangelical Tim Tebow reportedly visited the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville, Tennessee.

At the highly-anticipated awards' show, Tebow, who is now a host for ESPN's SEC Network, was spotted on the red carpet wearing a pair of black slacks, a blue vest and a black button down shirt. Tebow also sported a pair of glasses, and served as a red carpet correspondent during the event at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Tebow tweeted about the event, writing: "Fortunate to have my friends @brad_judah @KRalbers @caroline_B11 @sbrooketravis with me.#CMA" Tim tweeted from the red carpet."

The former Denver Broncos quarterback also spoke about the music awards show on Wednesday's airing of "Good Morning America," saying Nashville holds a special place in his heart from memories of his college football career and childhood.

"I spent a lot of time here in Nashville and East Tennessee. I trained here coming out of college, and so I love this area. It's an awesome city and the people are wonderful," Tebow said on "Good Morning America."

When asked if he's ever visited other parts of Tennessee, the former NFL star continued: "We would go to Florida every year from Michigan where I grew up, and we would go through and we would take our time. And that's when we spent our time more in Knoxville then I've ever been in Nashville." 

Tebow currently serves as an ESPN correspondent for the SEC college football network, the same network he played in when he started as a quarterback for the Florida Gators in college.
