'Titanfall 2' news, update: Ultra 4K PC system requirements revealed
A few weeks before the much-anticipated release of "Titanfall 2," Respawn has finally revealed the PC system requirements needed for the game's smooth run. One of the highlights of the "Titanfall" sequel is its Ultra 4K resolution support, so it is important for the players to take note of the minimum system requirements for them to enjoy the game's full features.
According to a blog post written by Respawn's management themselves just recently, the PC specs required to play "Titanfall 2" at its minimum feature should allow the user to play the game at 1600x900 screen resolution, with most of the graphics' details turned on and have the average frame rate of 60fps.
With this, it can be said the "Titanfall 2" requirements for PC is not very demanding as compared to the other top game titles out in the market this year. It would only take a user to have just enough budget to run the game in its medium settings and enable the smoothest frame rates as possible. The game can run with an Intel Core i3-3600t processor or its AMD counterpart, accompanied by at least 8 GB of RAM. Using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB video card or the AMD Radeon HD 780 2 GB variant will be enough to run the game at minimum graphics setting.
For those who are willing to upgrade their PC specs to enjoy "Titanfall 2" at its fullest, they would need at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB video card to allow the game to run at Ultra 4K resolution. According to PC Games N, the Pascal-based GPU would be enough to get the game running at a smooth 60fps without any lagging. Meanwhile, a GeForce Titan X Pascal video card is fit to allow 4K resolution with frame rate going up to 144fps, the latter value being the maximum frame rate allowed in "Titanfall 2," Game N Guide reported.
"Titanfall 2" will be released in the market on Oct. 28 in PC platform, as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console.
