Ubisoft to track down cheating and hacking on 'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege'

It appears that more and more online games are trying to track down those who try and take advantage in their games. Blizzard has done so with "Overwatch" and Ubisoft looks to follow suit with "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege."

There has been news earlier in the month that Blizzard caught thousands of hackers and cheaters and gave them permanent bans. This has resulted to another popular game in "Rainbow Six" to go through the same stance and they are going to be firm with their decision.

According to the updated code of conduct that can be seen on the "Rainbow Six Siege" blog, Ubisoft will track down hackers and cheaters who use other sources to give them an unfair advantage in the game and will hand down heavy punishments.

"The presence of cheating in the game is something we take very seriously, and is a priority on the development team," said the statement on the page.

Another thing that developers are taking a look at is that these hacks and cheats are detrimental to the experience of other players, so that is one reason why they are taking things very seriously.

However, the degree of the ban may be from permanent to temporary, depending on the offense that the user does.

But either way, unfair players should be wary of the consequences as there is no second chance from Ubisoft, who has already experienced similar issues in another game, "Tom Clancy's The Division," and thus is desperately trying to avoid a similar thing to happen.
