Fans of "Street Fighter" will surely appreciate the return of "Ultra Street Fighter 2" in the gaming world. The 16-bit video game now has better graphics, but what fans are looking forward to is the nostalgia that the game brings.

According to Forbes, one of the best things about Nintendo Switch is that it has the ability to offer local multiplayer titles, and "Ultra Street Fighter 2" is one example of that. The title is regarded as a classic game that has defined and reshaped what arcade gaming is all about. The publication also noted that the original "Ultra Street Fighter 2" was able to penetrate the players' living room through the SNES.

The upcoming "Ultra Street Fighter 2" is a combination of the 16-bit game and a new technology, according to Capcom. The game developer has already applied such action to other classic titles like the "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix," which has gained positive reviews.

The new title of the "Ultra Street Fighter 2" becomes "Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers." Of course, it boasts new features like its option to be taken outside the players' living room. As for the characters, most of the fighters from the original "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo" will be seen in the "Ultra Street Fighter 2." This has already been confirmed by the game developer on their website.

However, players are yet to find out the new characters who will join the roster. It is believed that the darker side of Ryu and Ken will be featured in the title.

What the title retains is the song that is already familiar to the "Street Fighter" veterans, especially the one that played in the "Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie," since it is the title's cover song.

"Ultra Street Fighter 2" has no release date yet, but it is confirmed to be exclusive for Nintendo Switch.
