'UnReal' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Can Rachel make Darius stay or will 'Everlasting' lose its main guy?
The upcoming episode of "UnReal" season 2 will see Darius (B.J. Britt) sharing a secret to Rachel (Shiri Appleby) that could make or break his appearance on the show-within-a-show "Everlasting."
Darius has a secret, and while it seems not everyone has figured this out yet, he would decide to get out while he still can. He would talk to Rachel about it, but the latter, who is back to producing "Everlasting," will try to do everything to get Darius to reverse his decision to leave the show. Because of this, Darius will have no choice but to reveal the secret to Rachel, which could make both of them reconsider things.
In the meantime, Quinn (Constance Zimmer) and Chet (Craig Bierko) would continue butting heads even while they would get back to working together on the same team. Still, Quinn would insist that she is much smarter than Chet, which apparently is the truth, but there would still be a power struggle between them despite that.
"Darius reveals his secret to Rachel and decides he must quit the show, but Rachel asks Coleman to help change his mind; Quinn and Chet join forces to produce a football episode; and Chet brings his baby to the set. Meanwhile, Quinn confronts Rachel about betraying the network," read the synopsis that TV Guide shared.
While very little is known about Darius' secret, it could possibly have an impact on Rachel, Darius' career, and the other characters on the show. There is also the possibility that the stakes for "Everlasting," the network that produces it, and Darius would increase.
The upcoming episode would also show if Chet would be successful in his plans to make "Everlasting" a mix of "Miss America" and "American Ninja," as Quinn continues to prove her worth, albeit eagerly.
"UnReal" season 2 airs every Monday at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
