'UnReal' season 3 news, updates: What to expect from season 3; Things get darker for characters of show?

The season 2 finale of "Unreal" ended with an unexpected twist. One of the main cast members of the series now gives her take on the upcoming season and dishes what's in store for the characters.

"UnReal" season 2's end was met with a lot of flak, as viewers of the series felt too many storylines were packed into the hour-long episode so that the writers decided to end it with something unthinkable—Jeremy (Josh Kelly) killing Yael (Monica Barbaro) and Coleman (Michael Rady) as they were conspiring to take "Everlasting," the show's reality-TV-series-within-a-series, down.

The executive producers have since addressed the criticisms, and now, it's Constance Zimmer's turn to give her take on the upcoming season, which will be comprised of 10 episodes as well. Zimmer plays "Everlasting" showrunner Quinn. Incidentally, Lifetime renewed "UnReal" for a third season even before its sophomore season premiered.

Speaking to TV Line, Zimmer said season 3's main plot will be the consequences of the events that marked season 2's finale. According to her, Quinn and Rachel (Shiri Appleby) were ready to own up for Mary's suicide in season 1 and Romeo's (Gentry White) police encounter in season 2. However, their plans changed because of Jeremy's surprising action.

The actress also said Quinn, Rachel, Jeremy, and Chet's (Craig Bierko) shared goal of saving "Everlasting" will bring them closer next season, but she was quick to add that it doesn't necessarily mean they will start playing nice with each other. She did hint that season 3 could have Rachel, who has tried several times to move away from Quinn's shadow, realizing that she will do better if she's with Quinn.

In other news, Parent Herald reports that Jeremy's season 2 actions could tear its way into his life, opening up a Pandora's box of unprecedented issues. He may or may not pay for his crime, but what he did will certainly eat up not only on his conscience but also on Quinn's and Rachel's.
