'Walking Dead' season 7 episode 6 synopsis, release date: Heath and Tara discover new community

In the upcoming episode of AMC's TV adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comic book series "The Walking Dead," the show will feature two characters that have yet to be seen in season 7.

The sixth episode of season 7, titled "Swear," will reintroduce Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Heath (Corey Hawkins). The pair was last seen in season 6 when they went off on a two-week supply run. In the trailer for episode 6, they will be arguing over whether or not they should return to Alexandria.

Since they haven't returned to their gated community, they are not yet aware of their current predicament. Both of the characters are also unaware of the death of Denise (Merrit Wever). They are still in the dark about the Saviors and the brutal death of Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz).

In the trailer, Tara can be seen sitting in a camper. Both of them think about returning to Alexandria, but at the same time, they feel the need to scavenge for more goods. The pair don't want to go home empty-handed. Tara still wants to look for more ammunition and medicine. She can be heard in the trailer saying, "We can't go back like this. There's people counting on us. Why you acting like you don't know that?"

In AMC's teaser for episode 6, the network only revealed that a new community will be discovered. The synopsis posted by TV Guide suggested similar information. According to the news outlet, "A familiar face stumbles upon a brand new society. Their rules, location and setup are unlike anything that has been seen before."

In a report by ComicBook.com, Tara and Heath are believed to stumble upon a new community situated on a beach, not too far from Alexandria. Based on the comic books, the settlement is called Oceanside. The news outlet further speculated that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) will make a trip to The Kingdom.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs on AMC on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST.
