Walking Dead Spoilers, Plot Recap: All's Not Well In Alexandria as Rick Keeps Plan Alive
All was not well in Alexandria when "The Walking Dead" returned on Sunday at 9/8c on AMC for its latest episode titled "Forget."
Even though there was a party in the safe zone, it was clear that queer things were going on as some members of Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) crew still had difficulty trying to adjust to their new lives.
The episode started with Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) having a minor meltdown in the woods as she used family portraits for target practice. She then volunteered to be a lookout in the tower.
Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) assigned Maggie (Lauren Cohan) to help her run the community in the safe zone. She also invited Rick and his crew for a dinner party at her house.
Meanwhile, Rick pursued his plan for his group's possible takeover of Alexandria. He discussed his plan with Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) inside an abandoned shed in the woods. He told them they have to get back their guns.
Daryl agreed to join Aaron (Ross Marquand) on a hunting trip during which they discovered a wild horse that was attacked by walkers.
As part of Rick's plan, Carol managed to enter the community's armory and took out a number of guns. But she was spotted by one of Jessie's (Alexandra Breckenridge) sons and she had to threaten him to keep quiet.
Rick and the rest of the survivors – except Daryl who was on a hunting trip with Aaron – turned up for Deanna's party. Rick ended up kissing Jessie. Jessie's son suddenly approached and mysteriously stamped Ricky with the latter "A" on his hand.
Daryl declined to go to the party and instead accepted an invitation by Aaron to spend time with him and his boyfriend Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson). Aaron then offered Daryl a job as a recruiter, noting that Daryl seemed to know "the difference between a good and bad person."
Daryl accepted the offer as he continued to bond with Aaron, especially after seeing motorcycle parts in Aaron's garage which needed to be assembled.
Finally when Carol brought the guns to Rick and Daryl, they were surprised when Daryl refused to take a gun, saying he was happy staying in Alexandria.
