One of the most anticipated games this weekend is the AFC clash between the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens.

To be held on Oct. 9 at 1:00 PM EDT, the Redskins are looking to get their third win of the season and extend their winning streak to the same number.

It won't be easy playing against the Ravens as they are a 3-1 at the moment and second in the AFC North, only behind the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Easily the biggest story in this match is the expected battle between Washington cornerback Josh Norman and Baltimore wide receiver Steve Smith Sr.

Smith and Norman were teammates back when they played for the Carolina Panthers and they are expected to battle again this weekend.

Both are familiar with how the other plays and their mutual respect extends on the field even when they are fierce competitors.

UPI also highlighted the battle between the two rivals, citing that Smith leads the team with 24 catches and 37 targets, while Norman already logged in an interception, a forced fumble and eight passes defended.

While these two stars will be the spotlight, there are also going to be many things to consider in this heated battle, with the quarterback rivalry at hand.

According to Inquisitr, Kirk Cousins should find it difficult against the Ravens defense and the Redskins quarterback could even have a poor game full of interceptions when they face Baltimore.

On the other hand, Joe Flacco is expected to please Ravens fans with a great game as he dictates the offense and dominates the match-up.

The report claims the game will not be close and that the Ravens will win by a large margin. However, the Redskins are on a streak as well, and it is possible that they are in for a big upset.
