'Watch Dogs 2' bugs, issues, latest news: Explicit content got the players disturbed; Sony apologizes but suspends exposer's account
"Watch Dogs 2" is currently facing a controversy after a player discovers an explicit detail that has got the players worried of the content. Ubisoft immediately faced the problem and promised to issue a patch to end the chaos.
A "Watch Dogs 2" player named Brit Adam took it to NeoGAF to share the explicit content, particularly when he killed a woman in the back alley. The player is apparently having "a great time" taking the life of the prostitute, but was surprised when the character's private parts were shown.
"I've been having a great time with the game so far," he wrote. "On Sunday evening I accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe and then I saw *it*.
After uploading the photo of the shocking content, Sony immediately took action and banned him for a month due to the content he shared. Ubisoft also announced that they will release the patch next week.
"We're aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit," Ubisoft said in an interview with Polygon.
Players 18 years old and up are the only ones allowed to play "Watch Dogs 2," but the explicit content found is said to be objectionable.
Meanwhile, players around the world are currently enjoying the game as soon as it was released. Kotaku wrote that "Watch Dogs 2" has majorly improved as compared with the first title. It is rich with problems that test the skills of the players. Time also said that the story is better and the main character is smarter.
"Watch Dogs 2" allows the players to take the role of Marcus Holloway, who is on the mission in San Francisco to stop a system called Dedsec by means of hacking it. Ubisoft has reportedly learned from the criticisms received by the original title and so they released the second installment with better features.
