"Watch Dogs 2" came out on Tuesday, Nov. 15, but unfortunately, gamers won't be able to play one of the main features of the open-world action/adventure video game.

Various sources report that "seamless multiplayer," one of the most highly anticipated gaming modes in the sequel to 2014's "Watch Dogs," is currently unavailable. This feature allows players to hack into each others' virtual interpretations of San Francisco. In a statement given to Shacknews, the video game developer/publisher said that it had to disable the feature because it caused the game to periodically lag and crash. Both Shacknews and Time noted that the game's multiplayer portion would lag during tests.

Ubisoft explained that they wanted to eliminate this problem at launch so that gamers can enjoy a smooth gaming experience. As such, it will wait to launch the "seamless multiplayer" mode so that it will not continue to affect the core gameplay.

"Players can fully enjoy the entire single-player experience without any concerns," Ubisoft said. "Additionally, co-op is still fully functional by inviting friends through the game menu. However, the Bounty-Hunter mode and other activities that would occur with other outside players who enter your game will be unavailable until the issue is resolved," it added.

Ubisoft has not announced when "seamless multiplayer" will be back online.

Meanwhile, the company has addressed another issue with the recently released video game. In a statement given to Polygon, the multinational video game publisher said that it will soon release an update to remove some of the "particularly explicit" female full-frontal nudity that a player found in "Watch Dogs 2."

Over the weekend, a "Watch Dogs 2" player with early access to the game found himself banned from the PlayStation Network after he shared a screenshot of a censored version of the unexpected nudity he stumbled upon in the game.

According to Ubisoft, it will be releasing a patch that will address the explicit nudity. "While 'Watch Dogs 2' is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week," the company's statement read. Ubisoft also said that it will be working closely with Sony and Microsoft to make sure that players can safely share content from the game.

"Watch Dogs 2" is now out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game's PC version will be available on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
