"Gravity Rush: Overture" already has the second part of its much-awaited animation. Watch the first and second parts here.

Producer Studio Khara, the same company that made "Rebuild Evangelion" famous, has released the complete two-part episode of "Gravity Rush: Overture." The anime connects the storyline of "Gravity Rush 1" and "Gravity Rush 2."

The main character of "Gravity Rush: Overture" is named Kat, who takes on a mission to defeat the enemy that is planning to destroy the universe. With her new ability to manipulate gravity, she now has more ways to take down the enemy.

Avid fans of "Gravity Rush" have been talking about how Kat has a deeper storyline than before. The main protagonist demonstrates how her personality evolved as a person before the audience even gets to the core of her story. Along with Kat are Raven, Syd, Kat's cat and Raven's crow.

"Gravity Rush: Overture" has just made "Gravity Rush 2" even more interesting to play since the sequel is the conclusion of Kat's story. The video game was initially set for an October 2016 release date but was moved to Jan. 20, 2017.

Game director Keiichiro Toyama explained that the delay has something to do with Kat's story. He wrote on the PlayStation blog, "Gravity Rush 2 is the conclusion of Kat's journey, so we want players to have enough time to dive deep into her story. In addition, as a lot of work went into online features that allow for asynchronous player interaction, we want as many people as possible playing the title at the same time."

As a way to make up for the delay, Sony includes "additional story" to the premium expansion pack. Details are to be seen when "Gravity Rush 2" arrives. For now, a free demo play can be accessed on PlayStation, with two modes available to cater to the newbies and to the veterans.
