"Wentworth" season 5 remains to be uncertain until now. Fans continue to wonder if the main character, Bea Smith (Daniel Cormack), will ever return. Ever since her death, several believe that the show will fall to the ground. But what if she will come back?

According to reports, fans are still hoping that Bea will come back to life because they are basing it on the storyline of the original series wherein the character lived until she was old. The Australian television drama series follows the 1979 series "Prisoner: Cell Block H."

Executive producer Jo Porter previously confirmed that they were following the original plot concept of the original one even though they made their own changes to it and added in new characters. So if they are going to pick up the plot from the original series, Bea could return to live a long life. The "Prisoner" series also did not show the death of the original Bea on the screen. The character was then played by Val Lehman who retired from the show after 400 episodes.

Instead of replacing her, the producers decided to kill her off at the end. Fans are hoping that "Wentworth" will really bring back Cormack to the mix. But as of now, all they can do is cross their fingers as nothing has been confirmed.

In other news, rumor has it that the show will be adding a famous Hollywood star to the cast. Reports suggest that "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth has been cast as a guest star. Nothing is revealed but speculations suggest that he will be playing the role of a rough warden at Wentworth Correctional Facility.

The rumors regarding his involvement in the show only started after he was in Melbourne, Australia, in October. However, Hemsworth has not confirmed anything so it's best to take reports with a pinch of salt.

"Wentworth" season 5 has no premiere date yet so fans will have to stay tuned for more updates.
