'WWE 2K17' release date news: NXT Legacy Pack released; Shinsuke Nakamara included in game

WWE fans are going crazy about "WWE 2K17" and the hype about it keeps getting higher as more contents are being rolled out. Recently, Shinsuke Nakamura was announced to be included in the game and can already be downloaded.

Shinsuke Nakamura, also known as the King of Strong Style, is now available for players to control. 2K Games announced the WWE 2K17 NXT Enhancement Pack, which includes the addition of the popular wrestler. Along with him are Apollo Crews and Nia Jax. What could get any better?

The "WWE 2K17" NXT Enhancement Pack also gives the players a 50 percent boost in points received while battling their strengths out at NXT during the MyCareer Mode. Players who are interested in buying the pack will need to spend $9.99 for it at either the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live.

It is important to know, however, that the NXT Enhancement Pack is only available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4). This should imply that PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360 owners will have to wait for their own pack to be available, or forget that the pack will come to their consoles. 2K Games has yet to confirm this.

The next best thing that these players can do is to opt for the NXT Legacy Pack. This would allow the PS3 and Xbox 360 players to access Nakamura, Crews and Jax by spending only $4.99. The only thing that differs, which the players need to be ready to accept, is that the pack does not include a point boost. Nonetheless, it is better than not having the new characters at all.

Aside from the "WWE 2K17" NXT Enhancement Pack, the "WWE 2K17" Legends Pack was also launched, but only for a limited time. The launch was reportedly just a mistake as the initial release date is set on Nov. 22. Several players were able to download the game before it was deleted at Sony and Microsoft stores.
