Fans of the World Wrestling Entertainment remain curiously in the dark when it comes to the status of The Undertaker.

One of the biggest names in the industry, the Dead Man has not been in action for a long time, last seen in Wrestlemania 32 when he had a match against Shane McMahon.

However, there are new speculations of The Undertaker's return, with the coming Royal Rumble as the possible time he makes a comeback.

There are so much talks about what is going on with the superstar, with some speculations claiming that the professional wrestler was ready to call it quits.

Already 51 years old, the Undertaker is definitely past his prime. With the show now gearing towards the younger and more vibrant stars, it appears that the Undertaker is out of place.

However, he is still one of the biggest draws and his influence in the industry is undeniable.

Other news has linked his relationship with WWE owner Vince McMahon as the biggest reason for his absence because the two had a falling out. Given the reputation of McMahon to be cut-throat when it comes to business, he may have done something that the Undertaker did not agree with.

Despite this, rumors of the Dead Man coming back is still strong, with talks linking the superstar to return at a big matchthat could pit him against the likes of Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon or even Brock Lesnar.

However, a fight that people would want to see is a legendary battle against Sting. Many old-school wrestling fans have been salivating on the prospect of this happening despite both athletes being past their prime.

With the rumors gaining steam, it would also be something that the company could do to draw more buzz and more eyeballs to the Royal Rumble pay per view.
