Xbox Games With Gold free games September 2016 list news: To include Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China
Fans are pretty excited after Microsoft announced their Xbox Games With Gold September line-up.
The games that will be available for the program next month are "Earthlock: Festival of Magic," a new role-playing video game being developed and published by Snowcastle Games. The title will debut on Xbox One on Sept. 1. It will also be available on the same date for other platforms such as PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC. Xbox players with Games With Gold subscription can download the new title for free from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30.
"Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China" will also be available for Xbox Games With Gold players starting Sept. 15 up to Sept. 30. The popular game was initially released in April last year.
The fifth installment of the "Forza" racing video game franchise, "Forza Horizon," will be available from Sept. 1 to Sept 15. The popular game first came out in October 2012 for Xbox 360.
The fourth game on the list of free games for Xbox Live Gold players is the action adventure platformer from EA DICE, the "Mirror's Edge." Although the game developer has recently just released the sequel of "Mirror's Edge," the original title has never lost its popularity amongst Xbox 360 gamers.
Microsoft gives members of Xbox Live Gold program the opportunity to access a selection of games every two months. The promotion is available for free on Xbox 360 and Xbox One players who subscribed themselves to Live Gold for a yearly fee of $60. The games consist of two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 titles, which will be given twice a month. Since all games are backward compatible, Xbox One players will be able to play all four games. Unfortunately, for Xbox 360 players, they can only play the titles compatible for the older console.
