Microsoft's Xbox One Backward Compatibility service is still rolling this month, and just recently, another classic Xbox 360 video game was confirmed to undergo changes on its format to become compatible with the latest Xbox One console. It was confirmed that "Blue Dragon" will be playable on the Xbox One soon, although the confirmation did not come directly from an official press release.

Techno Buffalo reported that "Blue Dragon," one of the older game titles created with the partnership of Microsoft and Mystwalker, is about to undergo the Xbox One Backward Compatibility service. Those players who missed playing "Blue Dragon" in their home consoles but are now owning the latest Xbox device can experience the fun once again with its new and improved format applicable for Xbox One.

The confirmation, however, was not announced directly by Microsoft with an official press release. The inclusion of "Blue Dragon" for Xbox One Backward Compatibility was revealed when Microsoft Xbox big boss Phil Spencer answered one of the intriguing questions of the fans on Twitter. One Twitter user asked Spencer if "Blue Dragon" will be among the next batch of old game titles to become backward compatible with Xbox One. He replied to the answer with a very interesting "yes."

"Blue Dragon" was the first game developed by game creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, the person behind the successful "Final Fantasy" game series. Sakaguchi founded the Mystwalker game studio when he partnered with Microsoft to create the game. It was first titled as "Chrono Trigger" or "Dragon Quest" for the Xbox players, although some people did not find these titles to be catching on.

There are a lot of old Xbox 360 video games that have become a huge hit over the years, and even until now, there are gamers who are hooked up with these games, considering that the new generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles offer other fresh and exciting video game treats. Nevertheless, Microsoft has already thought of the way to keep the previous Xbox 360 game titles playable even in the latest Xbox One platform. It is expected that the upcoming months will feature one or more older game titles to become playable in Xbox One.
