Xbox One S release date, specs & price news update: Three X Box One S deals await gaming fans in August

Microsoft is now trying to get rid of its last Xbox One units as it recently dropped the price of the current console to $249.99. The company might be having a hard time selling them all as it has already announced the arrival of 2 TB Xbox One S on Aug. 2. According to Amazon, the gaming system will be available for $399.

The pricing could be too hefty for some gamers; however, it will only be a matter of time before the American software giant will roll out a cheaper version of the console. Microsoft will be releasing 1-TB and 500-GB models with free games included.

If someone decides to get the regular Xbox One today, he or she will save a lot of money because of its new price cut. If he or she decides to wait for the Aug. 2 arrival of the new 2 TB Xbox One S, the price should be $399. However, on Aug. 23, two other versions of the new console will come out for lesser prices.

According to the report, the 1 TB Xbox One S will only cost gamers $349. The package will also include a copy of "Madden NFL 17." Consumers will have to download the game if they get their bundle online. For consumers who will buy the package at GameStop, a physical copy of the game will be included.

For people who do not like Football, they have the option to get the 1 TB Xbox One S Halo Collection Bundle. The package includes 5 video games of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The package is also available for $349.

For players who are really looking for a cheaper deal, they can get the 500 GB version of the Xbox One S Halo Collection Bundle for only $299.

Stay tuned for more news and updates regarding the exciting release of the new Xbox One S.
