Xiaomi Mi Note 2 release date, specs news 2016: Company to launch new smartphone this month?
Xiaomi has slowly gained a reputation of releasing quality smartphones at an affordable price. A lot of people have been waiting for the release of Xiaomi Mi Note 2, expecting nothing but another quality smartphone that can compete with the high-end releases from other makers. Previous rumors suggested that the device will come out in August; however, a new report indicates that the Mi Note 2 will finally arrive on June 25.
The recent teaser apparently appeared on the popular Chinese website, Weibo. It shows "2>5," which many people assumed would mean that the release date is on July 25. Tech observers believe that more details about its release date will be provided by the privately owned Chinese electronics company in the next few days leading to its launch date.
Although there is no official report published with regard to the smartphone's specs and features, fans and critics have already shared their predictions of what the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 can offer once it hits the market. According to reports, the device will likely to run on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm. It will arrive in two variants – one has 4 gigabytes of RAM with 32 GB internal storage capacity, while the other model will carry a whopping 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage.
The two variants are expected to sport a 5.7-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolutions. Other features include a 16-megapixel primary camera and a powerful 4,000mAh battery that is said to come with a quick charging capability.
Meanwhile, BGR reported that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will also be carrying other impressive features such as the NFC, 4G connectivity and the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
