Xiaomi Mi Note 2 release date rumors and news: Leaked details reveal its specs and features
Xiaomi has been all over the news lately as several of their hardware products are hitting the rumor mill. According to the latest reports, the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone might get released in the next few weeks as the new leaked information suggest.
The upcoming Xiaomi smartphone has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations online. The device is rumored to arrive in two variants. There are reports saying that it may get launched on Sept. 24
According to Android Pure, the publication who spotted the leaked details on the Chinese social media site Weibo, tech observers have reasons to believe that the recently discovered leak has some weight to it.
"The leak comes in the form of a teaser for a launch event but with just in the form of number with 9.24 written on it (which is short form of 24th September) along with Xiaomi logo and the Mi Note 2 on top," the report says.
According to the report, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will most likely run on Snapdragon 821 processor from Qualcomm. Although the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to provide the official details of its release date, some are speculating that the device will come out as early as Sept. 14.
Despite the contradicting reports regarding its release date, fans and critics have continued to share unofficial details about the device.
Meanwhile, Tech Times reported that the powerful processor of the device will be paired with 6 GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch screen with 2K display capabilities. However, the publication said that Xiaomi might also release another variant of the device with 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
There are also speculations saying that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be shipped with preinstalled Android 7.0 Nougat.
As of the moment, fans will have to wait for the company to make an official announcement.
