Yoga Tablet 2 Pro Release Date: Arrives in India With New Innovative Features

Lenovo has unveiled the Yoga Table 2 Pro, and India has early access to the device.

The new Android tablet is reported to be jam-packed with innovative features that make it one of the top tablets released this year, according to Android Central.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is a 13.3-inch tablet with an QHD display with the same kickstand seen on the previous Yoga flagships.

Aside from tablet's improved display, Lenovo also enhanced its sound quality and integrated a unique and advantageous tool, which is its very own projector. The Yoga Tablet can now preview a 50-inch "home theater experience" on any flat wall. The additional component is a 40-50 Lumen Pico Projector with WVGA (854x480) resolution.

It is currently running on Android 4.4 Kitkat but will shift to the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat when the latter's update is released. It has a Quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 that can cater up to 1.86GHz. With 2GB of RAM, it has a sharp display resolution of 2560x1440. The internal storage is 32GB which can be expanded with a micro SD.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.6MP front cam. The tablet can be used up to 15 hours on a single charge, depending on the use.

Aside from the ability to stand on its own, the device can also be hung on a vertical surface.

In terms of pricing, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro release in India costs $780. Its price tag in other foreign markets is expected to be more or less the same.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro was created in partnership with Ashton Kutcher, the product engineer who has been a consultant to Lenovo.
