Agent May's (Ming-Na Wen) life hangs in the balance in the upcoming episode of ABC's hit action drama "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.

Titled "Uprising," Tuesday's episode will see one from the team in serious trouble. According to the official synopsis, Coulson (Clark Gregg), Mack (Henry Simmons) and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) will stop at nothing to track down and neutralize a rogue group working to end Inhuman Registration all over the world. Meanwhile, Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) must race the clock in order to save May before she eventually dies because of her mysterious illness.

Back in the season 4 premiere, new character Ghost Rider a.k.a. Robbie (Gabriel Luna) was introduced as the flaming, car-driving spirit of vengeance. He has been constantly butting heads with the heroes since he first entered the picture, but that all ended in last week's episode. Ghost Rider teamed up with Daisy (Chloe Bennet) to hunt down several trouble-causing ghosts

While there are several similarities between Daisy and Robbie's personalities and backstories, Bennet mentioned during the New York Comic-Con  last Saturday that viewers shouldn't expect a romantic connection between the two characters. "I think we would be the worst couple ever," Bennet said. According to the actress, her favorite relationship in the story has always been the one between her character and Coulson. Bennet, however, clarified that she is not pertaining to a romantic dynamic, instead calling it the "most organic" partnership in the show.

Apparently, the creators are not looking for a love interest for Daisy right now. Bennet added that this season feels a bit different for her because she was "... alone. With a lot of makeup." She also stressed that her character's journey having "a season alone" gives her the opportunity to be more flexible as an actor.

The fourth season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
