It has been a long-time rumor running on the internet that the electronics and technology giant Apple is cooking up an upgraded design for the Apple Watch. Dubbed by many as the "Apple Watch 2," the highly anticipated high-tech wristwatch was expected to be mentioned at the March 21 event of Apple, but much to the dismay of those waiting for a new Apple watch, the company did not disclose any details about Apple Watch 2. However, the hopes of people remain high as Apple Watch 2 is now reported to be revealed either during Apple's Worldwide Development Conference (WWDC) 2016 in San Francisco, California, or will be launched alongside iPhone 7 in September.

As reported in the Yibada website, Apple is reported to stuff a lot of brand new features for Apple Watch 2 and aside from those features that they have already planned for the device, the company is also considering more add-ons to be included before they finally reveal the final version of their project.

Some of the very interesting rumored features of Apple Watch 2 include GPS receivers and wireless charging battery, as reported by The Apple Insider. The GPS chip and powerful battery capable of wireless charging, if they verify, will be a great leap ahead of the original Apple Watch. The reports claim that the company is still working to include these features to the final product which is why it might be taking a few months of delay before it could be unveiled in front of the public.

Another feature that captures the interest of many gadget enthusiasts is the Apple Watch 2's self-reliability, which would be a great innovation from the first Apple Watch envisioned by the company. The Apple Watch is now expected to have mobile payment and digital wallet service called Apple Pay for the first time.

Value Walk also spilled a rumored patent of Apple Watch 2 being packaged with various new kinds of gesture controls. The device in the rumored patent is shown to enable certain device actions by pointing, waving, and even having the user's pinky and thumb doing the "phone me" gesture in order to start a call.
